About Us
Harbour Ranch Rescue was founded with a simple purpose: to give all animals a second chance at life. By combining my passion for flying with my love for helping animals, it has grown into a mission dedicated to creating a real, lasting impact. Every day, thousands of animals face uncertain outcomes due to overcrowded shelters, limited resources, and high-risk environments. While many organizations work tirelessly to care for them, transportation often becomes the missing link - standing between euthanasia and safety. That is where Harbour Ranch Rescue steps in.
Through aviation, Harbour Ranch Rescue is able to reach animals in need wherever they are-whether in major cities, rural communities, as well as out of the country. By removing the barrier of distance , rescue missions are completed quickly and efficiently, giving animals a greater chance of survival when time and space are limited. The inspiration behind Harbour Ranch Rescue began with a passion for both aviation and helping animals. Hailey John’s first rescue took place in Harbour Island, Bahamas, where she rescued her dog Briland after she was found abandoned in a cave. That experience made her realize the true impact she could have by providing transportation and helping animals reach safe, loving homes.
After becoming a pilot, it became clear that flying could serve a greater purpose. After completing flight school and beginning to build experience, she made the decision to dedicate my flight hours to help animals, turning each flight into a mission to make a difference. That decision has grown into an ongoing commitment to rescue, transport, and give animals a second chance at life. Every flight changes a life.
